The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170 minutes when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as effective. The mop rotates at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into narrow corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and works well. However should you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.

The device is equipped with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the house and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and efficiently. This will ensure an efficient and consistent cleaning, while also being relatively quick.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach a wide range of surface areas. This includes corners, baseboards and other difficult to reach spots. They also have a flexible side brush that can be extended to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. In addition the mop pads are able to be washed and dried to prevent build-up and reduce odors.

App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo lets you adjust the amount of suction and choose between a back-andforth, or a more randomized pattern. You can also set the number of passes it will make, which will affect how fast the device will move around your home. You can also turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and carpets.

This device is expensive however it has many useful features. However, it's important to remember that it carries periodic expenses in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For example the brushroll has to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad should be replaced every one to three months.

This robot vacuum that mops is rated highly on Amazon and comes with a wide array of physical automation features. These include the power button that can also function as a general 'Clean button as well as a Home' button that will send it back to its base station once it has completed its cleaning task. It also comes with a multifunctional dock which automatically empty the dustbin, refills its water tank, and cleans and drys its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good option for busy professionals or anyone looking to keep their home tidy without spending too much time doing chores. Its powerful performance, smart navigation, and long battery life allow you to maintain a clean home with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot has two modules: a dry bin and water reservoir and a separate mopping system with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of position. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping might seem a bit outdated but they're a good thing because you don't have to worry about changing disposable bags or refueling the water tank.

Our test participants discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its precise map of your floorplan that it uses to create the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in picking up hair from pets. It was able to collect a lot of the hair that our cats shed, and even got into some of the corners and crevices of our stairs, where other robots had struggled. It was quiet and even had some nice jingles that signalled when it was beginning or finished its work.

Its biggest drawbacks were its simple app and the necessity to swap out the modules whenever switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app cannot save multiple maps. This can be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it has some unique features that make it worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also has a number of control buttons that allow you to start cleaning, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle a child lock which is a great touch for parents worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck when it gets caught in a blockage like a power cable draped over a rug. It will not work until you untangle it manually. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome sight in a space which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
